Universal Life Care Planner

Certification Board

The Universal Life Care Planner Certification Board invites applicants to become Board Members.

The Board coordinates its business goals and objectives via email and telephone conference calls. In-person meetings occur once or twice per year. Board members agree to work on tasks to help meet the strategic needs of the Universal Life Care Planner  Certification Board. Queries from members and/or the public are responded to as received.

The Universal Life Care Planner Certification Board member is a minimum two-year commitment. In the first year, the board member assists in assigned tasks. In the second year, the member may serve at an executive level such as Chair, Co-Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer.

This voluntary position carries no stipend. Expenses (to be determined) are reimbursed for in-person annual meetings depending on the budget constraints of the Board.  The Universal Life Care Planner Certification Board member receives twenty points of credit hours upon completion of the full two years of volunteer service, and recognition as a Board member.  Eligibility criteria includes:

  • Unrestricted license in healthcare (or a health and human services discipline) or its equivalent.
  • Preferably be an active member in good standing of AANLCP. However, other well-qualified candidates will also be considered.
  • CNLCP® certification for at least two years or current CHLCP™ certification  
  • Ideally possess prior board of director experience
