Certification and Recertification Fees

CNLCP® Portfolio Examination expected to be available late fall 2024. Applications for CNLCP® by multiple-choice exam are no longer accepted.

Standard Fees (non-member of AANLCP®):

• CNLCP® Portfolio Exam $495
• Recertification of CNLCP® every 5 years (by Continuing Education) $495
• Recertification of CNLCP® every 5 years (by Portfolio Exam) $495
• Late Recertification (within 30 days of expiration) $695

*AANLCP® Member Discounted Fees:

• CNLCP® Portfolio Exam $395
• Recertification of CNLCP® every 5 years (by Continuing Education) $395
• Recertification of CNLCP® every 5 years (by Portfolio Exam) $395
• Late Recertification (within 30 days of expiration) $595

Other Fees/Information:

• CNLCP® Exam Retesting (due to non-passing score) $245
• Examination fees include a non-refundable $75 administrative fee
• There will be no refund of fees unless applicants are ineligible for the examination
• Ineligible applicants will be refunded their fees minus a $75.00 administrative fee 
• Online applications must be paid by credit card. If you wish to pay by check, please download the application (see link in website footer), complete, and mail with all supporting documents as instructed on application
