To facilitate adherence to the requirement for accreditation for the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC), the CNLCP® Certification Board invites life care planners to participate in question writing for the Certified Nurse Life Care Planner (CNLCP®) Exam. To ensure that we include the expertise and experience of a wide range of nurses, and towards the goal of accreditation compliance, the Certification Board encourages CNLCPs to participate.
Exam questions should be accompanied by the correct answer and may be submitted prior to the AANLCP 2018 conference, or, brought with you to the conference. Though questions regarding all Life Care Planning topics will be accepted, we are specifically requesting test questions regarding Pain Management, Burns, and Amputations.
As an incentive for your participation, the first six individuals who submit ten questions will receive a $250.00 discount towards their attendance at the 2018 Annual AANLCP® Conference 3/16/18-3/19/18. If you are unable to attend the 2018 conference, a retainer of $250 will apply to the AANLCP® 2019 conference.
We are happy to begin accepting questions immediately. All life care planners are encouraged to participate.
To assist in question development, we have posted the Item Writing Guide on the CNLCP® Certification Board Web page @https://ulcpcb.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Item-Developers-Guide-2013.pdf
When submitting your questions, please include your CV and your references for the correct answer to the questions.
To submit your test questions prior to the conference, please email them to Shirley Daugherty at shirley@daugherty-legalnurse.com with a copy of your CV and the list of test question references. On March 16th, the Friday of the conference, the CNLCP® Certification Board will have representatives available to review the questions, answer any of your questions, and assist with question development. Further information regarding the meeting site will be forthcoming closer to the conference.
If you are unable to submit ten questions, that’s okay. We are happy to accept individual questions.
Thank you for assisting us in the accreditation process.
